Stunning location with private huts close together. Host provided wood for easy fire pit setup. Comfortable cabin with great temperature. Lovely host and separate feel. Excellent river and play area, perfect for kids. Wonderful dining area with great views. Gem of a self-catering option with friendly hosts. Plenty of activities for children and relaxation for adults. Great base for exploring nearby beaches and towns. Highly recommended breakfast basket. We will definitely return.

The decoration of the hotel was simply delightful, with beautiful paintings and floral accents that made me feel right at home. The general areas were always kept clean and tidy, and it was easy for me to navigate around as a senior. The staff were always helpful and made sure I had everything I needed during my stay, making it a comfortable experience for someone like me.
I would have appreciated a handrail in the bathroom to provide extra support and stability for senior guests. It's important to consider the safety and convenience of older individuals to ensure a better vacation for them.

The location was excellent, with a lovely river behind the property. Although the rain kept us indoors, the trampoline, play area, and dome would have been perfect for the kids. Fortunately, they had a good selection of board games for both the kids and adults, which kept us entertained. the dining area was also lovely, with great light and views. the house itself was beautifully decorated and had all the facilities we needed. We would definitely return in the future. Cons: Nothing for me 😊.

We had an amazing time at this peaceful and cosy retreat. The value for money was great, and the room was comfortable with everything we needed. The location was heavenly, with our own private terrace up in the trees. The staff were incredibly accommodating and even gave us a gift of jam and fresh baked bread.
The food for breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The location of this accommodation was ideal, situated between Skibbereen and Clonakilty. It was nice to be able to explore both towns easily. the peaceful countryside setting added to the charm of the stay. the bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep.
there were limited self-catering facilities available. the lack of a laundry facility and inadequate cooking supplies made it difficult to fully enjoy a self-catering experience.

I had an amazing stay at this self-catering gem! the 2 bed property was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. the hosts, Fabienne and her family, were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure that guests enjoy their stay. They even provided a phone number for any assistance and stocked the kitchen with tea, coffee, and condiments. the property is located in a peaceful rural setting, but only a short drive from Leap. the natural gardens and various activities like feeding the hens, trampoline, and outdoor fire provided endless fun for my kids. I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway. Cons: Everything was fantastic! 👍.

Our stay at Ballyroe Accommodation was fantastic. The location was excellent, with a beautiful garden and a peaceful atmosphere. We loved the absence of a TV in the apartment, as it allowed us to truly disconnect and enjoy the board games provided. The cleanliness of the house was impeccable. The highlight for us was the lovely river behind the property, perfect for relaxing walks. The breakfast hamper with local produce was a delightful bonus.
